When I was interning in New York in April, I had the pleasure of meeting some of the market editors from the major magazines. Around market weeks, PR firms invite the editors to their offices to show the upcoming looks of their clients. Many of the editors are stylish and gorgeous, but one of them walked in and had instant star appeal. The senior agents whispered to me "That's Joanna Hillman from Harper's Bazaar", as I scrambled to take notes on her visit.
She came in, in dark J Brands, a red silk shirt, and great blonde hair. In Manhattan, it's rare to find a great Beverly Hills-worthy blonde, plenty of elements work against blonde hair (the water, the snow, the humidity, pollution and the heater/air conditioning dryness). She was thin, like model thin but not starved, and her comments on the fashions were dead on. I had a fashion crush. Now I share with you some of Joanna Hillman's amazing street style.
